About the role
- Create and maintain a range of technical documents including user guides, API documentation, release notes, and knowledge base articles
- Develop tutorials, whitepapers, and case studies to educate users on best practices for implementing responsible AI solutions
- Review technical documentation produced by contracted vendors for consistency, accuracy, and harmony with corpus of CDAO RAI products
- Gather feedback from users and internal stakeholders to continuously improve documentation quality and usability
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and AI technology, as well as DoD, U.S. Government, and international policies as necessary
- Scrupulously follows security, classification, and public release policies and procedures to ensure documents are properly marked and handled
Requirements
- Secret clearance is required
- Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the AI, machine learning, or software development domain
- Proficiency in documenting complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Strong attention to detail and ability to translate technical jargon into clear and concise documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
