- Managing and coordinating the delivery of legal advice and support
- Delivering expert legal advice on privacy and client confidentiality
- Ensuring advice is accurate, understood by non-lawyers, and timely
- Driving improvement in operating practices
- Communicating legal advice and providing input on transactions
- Carrying out horizon scanning activities
- Owning and developing risk and control frameworks
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor or barrister
- Experience providing legal privacy advice
- Knowledge of current legal privacy issues facing banks
- In-depth knowledge of privacy and client confidentiality law
- Ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships
- Good commercial awareness
- Excellent communication skills
- Legal research and analytical skills
- Data protection qualification such as IAPP
- Ability to use AI tools for legal research and analysis
