About the role
- Engineer infrastructure technology for public and private cloud environments
- Comply with security, resilience, sustainability, and operational requirements
- Use automation to provide testing and a route to live for the product
- Collaborate with stakeholders to inform product roadmaps
- Support engineered products and respond to user feedback
- Develop technical skills through continuous learning and development
- Work within a team to design intuitive, self-service infrastructure products
- Generate innovative ideas and drive the delivery of those through product features
Requirements
- Experience in software development or automation scripting such as Python or Shell
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Experience utilizing modern infrastructure as code via tooling
- Working knowledge of the development of CI or CD pipelines using modern tooling
- Experience of using observability tools and techniques
- Public cloud vendor knowledge covering GCP, AWS and Azure
- Experience of working with technology deployed to an on premise datacentre
- Understanding of a DevOps mind-set, collaboration, automation and tooling
