About the role

  • Support the mission of OCHIN by configuring and supporting clinical applications within the Epic EHR software
  • Act as Level 2 technical support for ancillary integrated products
  • Collect and resolve issues
  • Coordinate with Help Desk on JIRA resolution
  • Help product owner to put together agendas for vendor calls
  • Represent OCHIN on vendor calls from a technical perspective
  • Operate alongside the Member Care Team framework
  • Serve as internal advisor to other analysts
  • Discuss and provide workflow solutions
  • Document build specifications
  • QA complex builds and other work orders
  • Collaborate with members from other OCHIN teams
  • Provide elbow support to clinic staff during Go-Lives
  • Lead trainings and workgroups for members
  • Mentor, coach, and train less experienced analysts
  • Develop and share workflow best practices
  • Travel 25% to support off-site software Go-Lives installations
  • Assist Project Managers in identifying system capabilities
  • Build, design, test, and document functionality of new system features
  • Provide process improvements within your application or team

Requirements

  • Epic Ambulatory certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5-years of experience as an Epic Ambulatory Analyst in a healthcare setting
  • Work history in Healthcare IT is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or a combination of college education and 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 2 applicable Epic certifications/proficiencies with preference given to Ambulatory, HOD, certification in Ambulatory is required
  • Experience with Epic implementation and support, including build, testing, and training for the ambulatory module
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Consistently acts with integrity and accountability
  • Process and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and solution oriented
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to travel 20-25% to support Go-Lives nationally
