About the role
- Developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure related hardware
- Operating systems, firewalls, configuration changes, troubleshooting, system performance
- Specify, Operate, and maintain platforms related to Cisco and Palo Alto environment
- Ensure production infrastructure meets all service level commitments
- Experience working in security administration
- Experience with Network micro-segmentation
- Secure network by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access
- Participate and/or lead in complex customer and internal projects
- Proactively and reactively look for solutions to prevent complex problems from occurring across teams/technologies
- Develop and maintain systems documentation and standard operating procedures
- Participation in on-call rotation with other Systems Staff
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Network Administration
- Healthcare IT experience is preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of networking including routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
- Demonstrated experience designing redundant network infrastructure
- Proficient in configuration and management of Cisco IOS based routers
- Proficient in configuration and management of Fortinet Fortigate routers
- Proficient in configuration and management of Palo Alto PanOS firewalls
- CCNA or other comparable CNA preferred
- CCNP or other comparable CNP certification preferred
- Completion of a 50–60-minute competency assessment before team interview
