About the role
- Provides instruction and all aspects of teaching of approved curricula as outlined in the university’s master syllabus.
- Recommends curriculum changes based on industry needs.
- Works with the Curriculum, Assessment and Persistence Committee as needed to review, assess, develop, and oversee curricular changes.
- Administers assessment instruments as requested.
- Maintains accurate attendance and academic records for students.
- Participates in faculty meetings and professional development meetings.
- Completes required compliance trainings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education as required by the Faculty Qualifications Handbook;
- Two years of college-level online teaching experience is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Teaching/instruction skills.
- Organizational and research skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong user-level computer software skills.
