About the role
- Research a targeted set of enterprise financial institutions to understand their products, strategies, competitors, and geographic footprint, and use those insights to craft tailored outreach.
- Support market entry strategies for new international regions for Verafin’s fraud and AML solutions.
- Identify and research executive‑level contacts, uncovering connections and insights that help secure high‑value meetings.
- Partner with sales and product teams to support expansion strategies for existing enterprise customers.
- Build and maintain detailed account plans, call plans, and documentation in Salesforce and SharePoint, while contributing to team strategy sessions and achieving team SQL targets.
Requirements
- Experience in a sales development, account development, or strategic selling environment.
- Strong research, organization, and documentation skills, with proven ability to maintain accurate CRM records.
- Comfort engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, from end users to executive‑level decision makers.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across sales, product, and leadership teams.
- Familiarity with CRM and prospecting tools such as Salesforce and LinkedIn Navigator (or similar).
- Experience in the financial services or software industry preferred.
- Exposure to selling to or supporting customers outside North America preferred.
- Experience with tools such as ZoomInfo, FI Navigator, or Outreach preferred.
