About the role
- Design, configure, and maintain cloud and hybrid infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, load balancing, databases, etc.)
- Ensure availability by building redundancy, failover, and fault-tolerant architectures
- Support scalability for growing traffic and users across multiple regions
- Maintain systems for consistent reliability in 24/7 production environments (patching, upgrades, lifecycle management)
- Enhance resilience with disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability strategies
- Manage and troubleshoot global networking: routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, CDN, and inter-cloud connections
- Optimize infrastructure for performance (low latency, high throughput) critical for gaming workloads
- Implement security best practices across multi-cloud environments and conduct security audits and vulnerability remediation
- Collaborate with DevOps teams and third-party suppliers to align infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
- Act as point of contact for infrastructure requests across Development, BI, Operations, and other departments
- Lead troubleshooting, incident escalation, root cause analysis, and preventive actions to strengthen long-term reliability
Requirements
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong networking knowledge (VPCs/VCNs, subnets, routing, DNS, VPNs, load balancers, IPSec connectivity)
- Solid experience with infrastructure security best practices
- Track record of maintaining and troubleshooting production systems
- Hands-on OCI experience (compute, networking, OKE) (preferred)
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar) (preferred)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration (preferred)
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines (preferred)
- Strong communicator, able to collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams
- Problem solver with ownership mindset
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
