About the role
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, including senior executives (C-suite).
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and meet client needs.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
- Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations, etc.) to address client needs and ensure effective delivery of solutions.
- Monitor account performance, analyze key metrics, and produce regular reports.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with key accounts, develop pricing proposals, and ensure profitability and mutual benefit.
- Manage client concerns and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify risks and opportunities.
- Coach and support other members of the account management team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in animal sciences, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales and/or marketing or a related field.
- At least two (2) years’ experience leading initiatives or projects, with demonstrated accomplishments influencing outcomes without direct managerial authority.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license required.
- French language proficiency required (for candidates based in Quebec only).
