About the role

  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, including senior executives (C-suite).
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and meet client needs.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
  • Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations, etc.) to address client needs and ensure effective delivery of solutions.
  • Monitor account performance, analyze key metrics, and produce regular reports.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with key accounts, develop pricing proposals, and ensure profitability and mutual benefit.
  • Manage client concerns and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Coach and support other members of the account management team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in animal sciences, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales and/or marketing or a related field.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience leading initiatives or projects, with demonstrated accomplishments influencing outcomes without direct managerial authority.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • French language proficiency required (for candidates based in Quebec only).
