About the role
- Create and drive relationships Architects, Electrical Engineers, and Security Consultants in the West region.
- Perform education Lunch and Learns and project meetings with accounts in the region.
- Find and create sales opportunities listing MSI products from targeted firms to contribute to the North American Sales Team's pipelines.
- Create and execute marketing plans targeting the assigned sector, including marketing campaigns, tradeshow events, sales tools, web resources, social media, and customer interactions as approved.
- Territory: Target A&E (Architects and Engineers) firms across the Central Region of the United States.
- Travel Requirements: 70%+ travel covering the Central US
Requirements
- 5 years of sales experience in Security Solutions
- 3+ years of Sales experience working in the Video Surveillance industry
- 2+ Years Experience working with A&E, Engineering, and Security Consulting firms (preferred)
- Detailed understanding of the Construction Lifecycle, Construction Design Sets using MasterFormat, and how the A&E business model operates.
- Good understanding of Design deliverables and software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
- Experience with key drivers in physical security in the Airport, Data Center, and Critical Infrastructure verticals.
- Deep knowledge of Video Security Cameras, Video Management Software, Video Analytics, and Access Control hardware/software.
