About the role
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to ensure the successful documentation of new features.
- Understand product features and document all relevant information for both external and internal audience.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of research findings, design specifications, and development processes. Ensure that documentation is clear, accurate, and up to date.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing product documentation.
- Gather and synthesize technical information throughout the development lifecycle.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Ensure that development milestones and deadlines are met.
- Ensure documentation deliverables are easily accessible to internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in software technical documentation, preferably within the telecom industries.
- Proven experience managing projects from inception to completion.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience in writing and maintaining customer technical documentation for a B2B software product.
- Experience in Technical Writing for technical and end-user audiences.
- Experience using XML Authoring applications, Git/Gerrit content management systems, Jenkins, basic knowledge on DITA and XML.
- Experience in evolving content strategy, information design, and information architecture, including structured writing, with demonstrated ability to consistently design and develop documentation that optimizes efficiency and reuse.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools, branching techniques and deployments. Telecom experience is a plus.
