About the role

  • Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) plans for Motive Card and future Spend Management solutions, ensuring alignment with company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Quarterback product launches by leading cross-functional teams.
  • Define positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with key audiences, differentiating Motive in a competitive landscape.
  • Determine the right target audiences and the most effective ways to reach them to accelerate new logo and expansion sales motions.
  • Build a deep understanding of industry trends, pain points, and buyer personas.
  • Leverage data and customer insights to refine messaging, product, partnership, and promotional strategies.
  • Develop thought leadership that makes Motive a perceived leader in the payments space and use this to generate content, sales collateral, presentations, and training materials to enable the sales team to effectively position and sell Motive Card.
  • Monitor the market for key trends and work with the industry experts to ensure effective ongoing relevance in the market.
  • Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that product development aligns with market needs.
  • Drive improvements to ensure we are continually evolving GTM processes to optimal.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in product marketing or marketing.
  • Previous experience in Fintech or Payments product marketing.
  • Passion for customer centric-thinking and strong ability to translate complex technical features into clear, compelling customer benefits.
  • Proven track record in driving GTM strategies, messaging, and sales enablement for enterprise or mid-market products.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Experience working with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a strategic perspective.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Agile and able to adapt quickly to shifting market dynamics and organizational priorities.
