About the role

  • First point of contact for technical issues; troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems; build and upgrade Windows workstations; support plotters.
  • Resolve issues using diagnostic techniques to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Manage Active Directory, automate with scripts, deploy packages via SCCM, and maintain VDI environments.
  • Utilize ServiceNow for incident tracking, service requests, workflow automation, and maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions, and procedures.
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles and user guides to improve support efficiency and empower end users.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
  • Experience with Active Directory administration, Windows scripting, and VDI environments.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean management methodologies.
  • Mindset oriented to process/team improvement and information-sharing.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux (configuration, bash, administration) is a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience with cloud solutions (W365, AWS) would be beneficial.
