💰 $80,000 - $120,000 per year

About the role

  • Support all phases of litigation including preliminary investigation and research, discovery, pretrial and trial
  • Manage, organize, and maintain litigation related files
  • Use legal research platforms and databases to gather case and docket information
  • Collaborate with outside counsel on collection, preparation, and production of documents
  • Assist with calendaring and tracking case deadlines
  • Create and customize spreadsheets for collection and tracking of records and data
  • Coordinate with outside counsel, witnesses, and experts on various matters
  • Manage legal spend and case budgets

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, preferably in a field of law or related field (completion of a certificate program in paralegal studies is a plus)
  • 3-5 years' experience supporting attorneys, with at least 1-year of in-house experience
  • Experience in patent litigation and other patent related administrative proceedings is a plus
  • Experience researching case and docket information and managing discovery by utilizing e-discovery platforms
  • Exceptional attention to detail and effective organization of complex and voluminous data
  • Ability to shift priorities and handle multiple, competing tasks
  • Strong organization, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
