Accounting Manager

• Responsible for timely research, documentation and conclusion of GAAP accounting and SEC disclosure matters related to the ongoing business operations
• Review of various customer, vendor or other contracts to determine appropriate GAAP accounting
• Perform complex financial analysis and due diligence related to deal terms including financing, investment, or other strategic initiatives
• Assist in the monthly close process through preparation and/or review of financial statements, SEC filings, reconciliations, and journal vouchers
• Participate at various levels in SOX related initiatives including project management, documentation and acting as liaison between IT and the company’s external auditors
• Perform financial variance analysis for trial balance accounts as needed
• Participate in system implementations and upgrades as needed
• Provide ad-hoc financial leadership and support for various company projects
• Report to Senior Manager, Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting and interact cross-functionally with FP&A, IT, Sales Operations, Product, HR, Legal and Tax
