Application Engineer

• Improving the developer experience for everyone when adopting Java and Spring inside Mollie.
• Work with Java enthusiasts as well as Developers new to the JVM across the company.
• Work with a small dedicated team of Java experts forming the core of the Java community at Mollie.
• Develop and adapt libraries to Mollie use cases and environment.
• Improve our deployment and packaging to GKE and GCP.
• Help establish a golden path on how to build Java applications at Mollie.
• Guide and support contributions to the platform from across a wide range of teams and individuals.
• Continuously improve our Java infrastructure, tuning deployments and infrastructure.
• Work within Mollie’s Java platform architecture: monorepo structure, Maven, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, GKE on GCP, Terraform and Helm, all using Spring Boot on the latest JVM.

Application Engineer I

Customer Success Manager

• Manage and expand relationships with Mollie’s most important customers, from scaling businesses to mid-market and large enterprises
• Act as a trusted advisor to help customers unlock Mollie’s products, ensure long-term success, and identify growth and retention opportunities
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Support, and Marketing
• Report to the Customer Success Lead for International Markets
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level executives and key decision makers as a go-to payments advisor
• Guide customers through digital transformation to leverage Mollie for streamlined operations and growth
• Champion the customer’s voice internally by sharing feedback to enhance product and user experience
• Manage overall account health, engagement, product usage, renewals, and satisfaction
• Lead retention and advocacy by delivering proactive support and driving results across multiple products
• Support contract negotiations and renewal strategies
• Identify and lead growth opportunities by collaborating with Sales and Technical Account Managers
• Develop and implement success plans aligning customer goals with Mollie’s solutions for maximum ROI
• Perform strategic business reviews with stakeholders to share insights and uncover growth

Business Development Rep

• Outbound prospecting to merchants in Germany, Austria and Switzerland via email sequences, cold calling and in-person events
• Follow-up with inbound marketing and partnership leads using company sales tools
• Own full sales cycle: manage deal pipeline from first contact through to live customer
• Create compelling commercial proposals tailored to merchant business needs
• Coordinate onboarding and integration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful go-live and handover to Customer Success
• Collaborate with onboarding and risk teams early in the sales process to optimise conversion and manage risk
• Leverage Mollie value proposition to meet merchants face to face and employ creative sales approaches
