Outbound prospecting to merchants in Germany, Austria and Switzerland via email sequences, cold calling and in-person events
Follow-up with inbound marketing and partnership leads using company sales tools
Own full sales cycle: manage deal pipeline from first contact through to live customer
Create compelling commercial proposals tailored to merchant business needs
Coordinate onboarding and integration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful go-live and handover to Customer Success
Collaborate with onboarding and risk teams early in the sales process to optimise conversion and manage risk
Leverage Mollie value proposition to meet merchants face to face and employ creative sales approaches
Requirements
Proven experience in B2B sales (e.g. SDR, BDR, BDM, AE) with a track record of building pipelines through outbound activities (cold calling, email outreach, etc.)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a consultative sales mindset
Confidence in discussing technical solutions and addressing client needs
Eagerness to learn and thrive in an outbound sales environment
Familiarity with modern sales methodologies
Knowledge of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Shopware, Magento (a plus)
Fluency in German with excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong proficiency in English (company language)
Experience engaging in C-level and in-depth sales conversations
Based in Munich or planning to relocate to the greater Munich area
