About the role
- Build and expand the firm's U.S. practice and influence U.S. strategy
- Leverage global referral network to generate cross-border work
- Manage and grow client relationships and portable business
- Exercise practice autonomy including setting billing rates and managing clients
- Collaborate across regions and practice groups for business development and work-sharing
- Step into leadership roles to shape the U.S. expansion
- Utilize firm marketing, administrative, and infrastructure support to scale practice
- Capture materially higher net compensation under transparent split economics
Requirements
- Portable book of business $500K - $4MM+
- Demonstrated client development and business origination
- Interest in leveraging global cross-border opportunities and referrals
- Entrepreneurial, collaborative mindset with appetite to contribute to U.S. expansion
- Experience as a partner or lateral partner in a law firm
- Practice expertise in one or more core areas: Corporate/Transactional, Employment & Labor, Intellectual Property, Litigation & Investigations, Real Estate & Finance, Tax & Wealth Management, Regulatory & Specialized
