About the role
- Act as an Executive Advisor for key technical leaders within our customer base and build/maintain strong relationships with senior leadership level personas in enterprise accounts.
- Work closely with Sales to structure new business opportunities and develop comprehensive proposals and presentations for customers.
- Develop tooling, methodologies, and collateral to communicate the value of Mixpanel
- Build repeatable frameworks and industry playbooks to be utilized by Customer Success and partners to sell and deliver solutions beyond initial onboarding.
- Act as the strategic point of contact for a small portfolio of Enterprise customers, owning the strategy and execution plan for key milestones like proof-of-value, time-to-value, and long-term retention/growth.
- Conduct customer, market, and industry research to continuously develop and refine Mixpanel’s service capabilities and organized offerings.
- Present at industry events and represent Mixpanel as a thought leader at executive meetings.
- Author and deliver thought leadership content (e.g., blog posts, white papers) with an opinionated point-of-view on industry trends (e.g., data architecture best practices, analytics/metrics strategy) and highlight the impact of successful services engagements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Management Consulting or Professional Services roles at B2B SaaS companies with a track record of successful business development and delivery.
- Proven ability to partner with Sales on large enterprise deals, acting as a technical and strategic advisor to define complex people, process, and technology requirements that extend beyond standard "happy path" onboarding.
- Technical expertise in data and analytics, including hands-on experience with Digital Analytics and Product Analytics. Deep knowledge of customer data platforms and their specific place within a company's overall data architecture.
- Strong executive presence, and experience running workshops with customer executives (onsite and virtual) and the ability to create digestible, aesthetically pleasing deliverables.
- Experience with building practice areas and organized, repeatable offerings is highly desirable.
- Experience with program and change management specifically regarding enterprise transformations, digital transformation, and SaaS adoption.
- Technically curious and willing to work across go-to-market teams with a focus on reusable assets and upleveling others
