About the role

  • As the Director, West Region, you will be a key member of MMNA’s management team, serving as the driving force behind Sales Operations, Aftersales, and Dealer Development throughout the Region.
  • You will act as a mentor, subject-matter expert, and brand ambassador, representing Mitsubishi Motors to current dealer partners and prospective candidates.
  • In alignment with MMNA’s Momentum 2030 strategy, you will be responsible for developing and executing a regional plan centered on an expanded product lineup, a modernized retail model, and strategic network growth.
  • Strengthening dealer relationships, increasing vehicle and parts sales, and advancing the Region’s overall operational performance will all be critical to supporting the company’s journey toward 2030 and beyond.
  • You will lead and oversee the Region’s goals, KPIs, and operational strategies across Sales Operations and Aftersales.
  • Cross-functional collaboration is a key component of this role, working closely with teams such as Marketing, Aftersales Marketing, Digital Product Strategy, Product Planning, Finance, Legal, and Human Resources to optimize results.
  • You will also manage and coach a small, highly experienced team, ensuring the West Region achieves strong growth, expanded market presence, enhanced profitability, and superior customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive automotive wholesale and/or retail experience, ideally in roles such as District Sales Manager, Regional Dealer Network Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Regional Aftersales Manager, Regional Director, or similar leadership positions.
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills, with the ability to persuade, lead, and inspire at all levels of the organization and with external dealer partners.
  • Advanced proficiency with IHS Markit systems and data, including Catalyst for Insight.
  • Expert knowledge of dealer network planning tools and processes, specifically Urban Science Ni2.
  • Advanced capability in dealer financial analysis, including hands-on experience with Urban Science DBI.
  • Strong working knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry resources related to dealer network planning and operations, including FLIS.
  • Previous retail dealership General Management or Operations leadership experience, with a deep understanding of dealership performance drivers.
  • Proven experience leading teams, including coaching, mentoring, and setting objectives and KPIs for both teams and individual contributors.
