About the role
- Lead and deploy HR strategic initiatives for the Flower Mound plant and across the business unit
- Mentor and coach other HR leaders and lead the Flower Mound HR team
- Serve as active member of local management team guiding HR policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
- Manage HR support for ~600 team members and build relationships at all levels
- Provide effective communications and development opportunities for HR staff
- Analyze workforce trends, data, and provide guidance to management
- Coach managers and supervisors; assist with performance management
- Assist in leadership development, succession planning, training, and development
- Participate in Safety Committee; oversee safety policies, training, OSHA compliance, and workers' compensation case management
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Comp & Benefits centers to manage recruitment, benefits enrollment, 401K, STD, LTD, and escalations
- Manage change processes and improve local HR programs to enhance team member satisfaction
- Investigate team member concerns and recommend resolutions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree in a relevant field
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- 10 or more years HR Generalist experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 10+ years of Human Resources leadership experience in talent development, engagement, staffing, retention, safety management/workers compensation
- Experience leading an HR Team (preferred)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of benefits, recruiting, compensation, training, payroll, policies & procedures
- Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and regulations
- Ability to manage and prioritize time effectively
- Superior presentation and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
