About the role

  • Conduct direct sales activities to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Canadian market
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through virtual meetings and F2F interactions
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and performance
  • Deliver forecasts to leadership and maintain salesforce hygiene
  • Navigate Mitel systems and organization for support and collaboration
  • Understanding and positioning Mitel solutions and roadmap
  • Leverage sales skills such as MEDPICC, Richardson or similar sales methodologies

Requirements

  • Desirable to speak French
  • Bachelors degree, or experience in lieu of education
  • 3+ years of proven experience in direct sales, preferably in the Canadian market with a focus on telecommunication, enterprise networking and/or associated technologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Background with salesforce and/or alternative CRM tools to maintain funnel and organize account plans and opportunity plans
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Willingness to travel within Canada
