About the role
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in close partnership with technical and product teams to ensure legal and regulatory compliance in the deployment of AI technologies, with a specific focus on consumer law (DSA, online platforms, etc.).
- Stay updated on the latest AI-related legal and regulatory developments, and provide practical guidance to the organization on potential risks, solutions and opportunities.
- Provide training and support to the business on legal and compliance matters related to AI.
- Help drafting terms and other contractual materials, or negotiate contracts with upstream partners or suppliers, including but not limited to AI-related service agreements.
- Support team on other legal topics as needed.
Requirements
- Master degree in law, a bar admission is a plus, as well as an experience in a fast-growing environment
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a law firm or in a tech company, in IT law, with a focus on consumer law (DSA, online platform regulations, etc.)
- An understanding of artificial intelligence technologies and their applications is essential
- Solution oriented approach: the candidate should be able to identify compliance issues and develop effective strategies to address and resolve them. They should be capable of implementing practical solutions
- Solid project management skills
- Ability to analyze complex legal and technical issues related to AI and to identify potential legal risks and solutions is important.
- Candidates should be detail-oriented and have strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication; Strong ability to present complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner
- Business oriented
- An international experience is a strong plus
- Ability and willingness to continuously learn and update their skills and knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Proactive, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
