About the role
- Lead, develop, and motivate a small but high-performing Community Support team that is on the front line of supporting our artists.
- Project manage our detailed Artist Challenge calendar between cross-functional teams. Maintain project plans, using tools to automatically keep all teams informed of status, action items, blockers, dependencies, and deadlines.
- Manage escalated, sensitive cases that require special care and consideration.
- Ensure that our Support team meets very high standards for responsiveness to artists and quality of support. Analyze artist data, conduct detailed root-cause analysis, and communicate artist feedback cross-functionally. Develop solutions and determine the right channels to address artist feedback.
- Develop strategies and tools that help us scale to provide outstanding support to a growing community of artists.
- Monitor and manage Support team metrics and artist feedback. Be an internal advocate for artist needs and product requests across merchandising, brand, marketing, product management, and engineering teams.
- Develop programs that increase artists’ engagement with Minted and each other in our online community.
- Design onboarding content and automated communications that encourage new artists to try out the Minted community and participate in their first few design or art competitions.
- Manage all recurring artist communications, such as Design Challenge emails, announcements, individual updates about artists’ work, and act as the conduit between Minted and our artists for business updates.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of business experience, preferably in an external-facing customer service, community management, or client service role
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Excel or Google Sheets is required
- Experience with HTML and CRM tools (Salesforce, Zendesk, etc.) is strongly preferred
- Experience with project management tools (Asana, Wrike, Monday, etc.) strongly preferred
- Experience with design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator) is a plus
