Lead manufacturing process optimization efforts
Develop lean transformation programs for cost reduction and scalability
Manage end-to-end product launches and industrialization including offshoring projects
Support plant commissioning efforts as a core member of transformation/project management office
Lead MES design and shopfloor digitalization for battery cell and/or pack assembly OEMs
Strategize MES deployment and operations worldwide
Oversee global IT transformation across multiple plants
Coordinate commissioning activities, including Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing
Manage cross-functional teams for ramp-up and process validation

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's in engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in manufacturing IT or engineering, with a background in manufacturing, commissioning, or production management, ideally within the automotive or EV sectors
Proficient in Design for Manufacturing principles and compliance regulations
5+ years of specialized experience in battery cell manufacturing processes
5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial automation tools including PLC programming, SCADA systems for real-time process monitoring and MES software
Strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and knowledge of simulation tools like MATLAB and ANSYS to drive process innovation and efficiency
Thorough understanding of High Voltage Safety systems, covering risk assessment, hazard categorization, and operator safety protocols
Extensive exposure to high-volume production optimization, including identifying constraints and resolving systemic bottlenecks.
