💰 £47,389 - £50,253 per year
About the role
- play a key leadership role in shaping and delivering the research strategy
- support the development of a thriving research environment
- act as the Professional Services lead for research
- lead a team supporting academic research across the full lifecycle
- manage and provide agile and visible support for all research proposals
- ensure School-readiness for REF exercises
- lead on research governance and ethics
- develop, implement, and promote all research internally and externally
- provision of training and induction for all research colleagues
Requirements
- sound understanding and knowledge of the national and international research environment
- sound appreciation of the research lifecycle
- significant experience of working in a research-active environment
- experience of research administration
- experience of evaluating research performance
- understanding of how to build a culture of equality, diversity and inclusion
- effective collaboration, influencing and negotiation skills
- ability to think strategically and manage conflicting priorities
- degree or equivalent level qualification and/or experience in a similar research related role
