About the role
- Act as the primary contact for HR-related escalations from managers.
- Ensure quality business performance by executing the talent agenda in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and support Sr. HRBPs and CoCs in enhancing employee engagement, morale, and retention.
- Work with CoCs to deliver integrated, high-quality HR solutions.
- Partner with Sr. HRBPs to provide guidance and assistance on business restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with CoC to oversee the implementation of the learning framework and continuously identify opportunities for employee upskilling.
- Facilitate talent management communications and milestone tracking for employees.
- Advise people managers and employees throughout performance reviews and the promotion process.
- Offer performance management support, including coaching, career development, and counseling.
- Collect metrics and analyze trends to evaluate the health of the business and assist Sr. HRBP in creating solutions, programs, and policies.
- Assist with the rollout and communication of Future of Work (FOW) initiatives, providing guidance to people managers on new and existing programs.
- Oversee HR activities such as employee documentation and adherence to employment laws.
- Collaborate with the workplace solutions team to ensure compliance with local labor regulations.
Requirements
- Must be bilingual in both English and French languages
- Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to understand and anticipate business needs, aligning HR initiatives to support organizational objectives.
- Comprehensive HR knowledge, including expertise in HR policies, performance management, talent development, career management, reward and compensation processes and strategies, diversity management, and employee relations
- Comprehensive knowledge of Canadian Labour Law- ON, BC and QC is a MUST
- Proven ability to leverage professional networks and resources to deliver effective HR solutions.
- Experience coaching business leaders and supporting them in driving team performance and engagement.
- Experience in consulting background firm
- Skilled in managing difficult conversations with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
- Ability to analyze data and apply analytics, drawing insights from enterprise trends to inform decisions and strategies within the business unit.
- Strong critical thinking skills, enabling effective problem-solving and innovative solutions to complex HR issues.
- Sound decision-making abilities to ensure fair and consistent HR practices across the organization.
