About the role
- Administer and maintain Active Directory infrastructure, including domain controllers, replication, and overall AD health.
- Perform Windows Server administration (2012–2022), including patching, hardening, and system security.
- Design, implement, and manage Group Policies (GPOs) to ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
- Manage permissions, access rights, ACLs, and Group Managed Service Accounts (gMSA) following best practices.
- Implement and maintain AD security, hardening, and identity protection measures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve AD, DNS, replication, authentication, Kerberos, LDAP, and SSO-related issues.
- Integrate Active Directory with enterprise applications and infrastructure services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams during system upgrades, migrations, and major incidents.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor AD health, performance, logs, and generate reports on access control, compliance, and user activity.
- Maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures for the AD environment.
- Serve as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for customers during incidents, escalations, and migration activities.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of hands‑on experience managing and supporting large-scale Active Directory environments.
- Strong expertise in Active Directory administration, including domain controllers, replication, FSMO roles, and AD Sites & Services.
- Skilled in Windows Server (2012–2022) administration, patching, hardening, and security compliance.
- Experienced in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting Group Policies (GPOs) for enterprise environments.
- Solid knowledge of AD security, access control, ACL management, privileged access, and gMSA accounts.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting Kerberos, LDAP, DNS, replication, and authentication issues.
- Capable of integrating AD with multiple applications, identity services, and SSO platforms.
- Experienced in monitoring AD health, performance, logs, and generating compliance/security reports.
- Skilled in maintaining backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures for AD.
- Acts as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) during incidents, escalations, and migration activities.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to handle business-critical issues under pressure.
- Effective collaborator with cross-functional IT and security teams during upgrades and major changes.
