About the role

  • Architect, deploy, and manage complex AWS IaaS environments including EC2, VPC, EBS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and related services
  • Lead cloud migration projects, infrastructure modernization, and automation initiatives
  • Design and implement high-availability, fault-tolerant, and scalable architectures
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
  • Must know Application Gateway and load balancers
  • Implement Security certificates
  • Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, network segmentation, and compliance controls
  • Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and resource utilization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Application Development
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures
  • Stay current with AWS innovations and recommend strategic improvements

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure
  • At least 5+ years in AWS cloud engineering
  • Deep expertise in AWS IaaS services and architecture
  • Strong proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Solid understanding of networking (VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, Route 53)
  • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or DevOps Engineer – Professional
