About the role
- Manage and scale GCP infrastructure
- Drive CI/CD automation
- Enhance cloud governance
- Ensure secure, reliable operations across cloud-native environments
- Administer and scale GCP services including Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM, BigQuery, and Databases
- Manage Docker- and Kubernetes-based workloads on GKE with Helm for container orchestration
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code (IaC/PaC) for secure, compliant cloud operations
- Enforce identity governance and IAM policies
- Monitor resource health using Stackdriver, Datadog
- Automate cloud operations and remediation using Bash or Python scripting
- Perform cost optimization, drift detection, and performance tuning of GCP environments
- Document architectures, operational playbooks, runbooks, and postmortem RCA reports
Requirements
- 4-6 Years of experience in GCP Cloud
- Strong hands-on experience with core GCP services (Compute, VPC, IAM, Storage, BigQuery)
- Expertise in Linux administration with automation in Bash/Python
- CI/CD pipeline development using Cloud Build, GitLab CI, Jenkins
- Containerization with Docker and orchestration on GKE with Helm
- Experience with Stackdriver, Datadog, and cloud monitoring practices
