About the role

  • Responsible for the management and successful completion of cross-functional activities leading to the delivery of a project sub-system
  • Managing cross-functional sub-system level stakeholders, activities and deliverables to reach QCDP commitments
  • Making necessary arbitrations across engineering, product x process, Make or Buy decisions, costs, milestones, and interfaces
  • Coordinating sub-system activities with other project stakeholders including integration teams, other sub-systems, and project level functions
  • Implementing and managing the sub-system Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  • Planning, monitoring, controlling and managing sub-system end-to-end activities (scope, schedule, resources, cost, risks, savings, opportunities)

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • 3+ years experience as manager of an operational scope
  • Experience working in and with multi-national companies across different business cultures
  • Strong coordination and communication skills with a results-oriented mindset
  • Knowledge of project management processes and methodologies
  • Capacity to coordinate and ensure collaboration of multi-site/multi-discipline teams
  • Fluency in French and English (oral and written); additional languages are an asset.
