- Develop and apply engineering practices in creating and assuring products and solutions across disciplines
- Define fundamental concepts and properties of engineered systems and products
- Create physical forms and functions of products
- Ensure safety, reliability, availability, maintainability of products
- Address through life support and evolution of systems and products
- Provide documentation and information assets for systems and products
Requirements
- Experience in the development and application of engineering practice and knowledge
- Competency in own area of expertise
- Ability to creatively determine a product's physical form, function, and performance
- Support the assurance of safety, reliability, availability, and maintainability
- Knowledge of systems and products support throughout lifecycles
- Ability to assess whole lifecycle environmental impacts and comply with regulations
- Incorporation of renewable energy sources and clean technologies into designs
- Must complete own role independently or with minimum supervision
