About the role
- Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across Projects
- Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
- Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget
- Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
- Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans
- Weekly Release Reporting
- Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities
- Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges
Requirements
- 9 to 12 years of experience
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of software engineering practices
- Ability to supervise the technical work of other software engineers.
Benefits
- Incident management experience is preferred
- Understanding of ITIL with experience of 3 to 4 years.
