About the role

  • Install, configure, patch, and migrate SAP BODS (4.x) servers to ensure optimal performance and availability
  • Administer and manage IPS / DS / IS installations, including upgrades and environment hardening
  • Configure and maintain Promotion Management, SOAP connections, and other system integrations
  • Manage and monitor BODS CMC and DSMC consoles, including job server creation, repository setup, and repository maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to authentication, Tomcat, SIA, CMS, repositories, users, job servers, and connectivity to SAP and non‑SAP systems
  • Configure and manage user authentication (LDAP/SAML/AD as applicable)
  • Work with SAP HANA, Oracle, and NoSQL environments to support data integration workflows
  • Perform backup, restore, and (if applicable) data center migrations of BODS servers
  • Collaborate with ETL, BI, and Infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with ITIL and internal governance processes.

Requirements

  • 4 to 9 Years of Experience in SAP
  • Strong expertise in SAP BODS Administration (4.x) including installation, configuration, patching, and system upgrades
  • Hands‑on experience with BODS CMC, DSMC, repository management, and job server configurations
  • Deep understanding of ETL environments, data flows, and enterprise data architecture
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases, SAP HANA, and Oracle
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across authentication, Tomcat, SIA, CMS, job servers, and integration layers.
