About the role
- Perform daily SharePoint administration including site creation, page/library setup, permissions management, and user issue resolution.
- Monitor SharePoint farm health through IIS services, server performance, timer jobs, drive usage, logs, and usage/health reports.
- Troubleshoot SharePoint application and platform issues by analyzing logs, events, and system behavior to isolate and resolve problems.
- Handle ServiceNow incidents and requests within defined SLAs, ensuring efficient BAU support in a 24×7 environment.
- Support SharePoint multi‑site farm components including Web Front End servers, Search/Indexing servers, and coordination with database teams.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes while collaborating with cross‑functional application support and infrastructure teams.
Requirements
- Strong hands‑on experience in SharePoint Administration (2010/2013/2016) covering configuration, permissions, and issue resolution.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft IIS, Windows Server, and MOSS platform components.
- Ability to diagnose SharePoint service, performance, and application issues using logs, monitoring tools, and usage reports.
- Experience working in ITIL‑based environments with strong incident, request, and change management handling.
- Capability to support large SharePoint farms and coordinate with multiple teams for smooth operations.
