About the role
- Lead enterprise-wide PLM transformation programs, creating strategic roadmaps aligned with business objectives and digital initiatives.
- Assess current PLM environments, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions to optimize product development processes.
- Design scalable PLM architectures that integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems (ERP, MES, CRM) while ensuring data integrity and governance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Develop business cases and ROI models to demonstrate PLM investment value to executive stakeholders.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging PLM technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development within the PLM practice.
- Partner closely with clients to deliver tailored solutions leveraging expertise in PLM and related engineering disciplines.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in PLM consulting, implementation, and architecture, with deep knowledge of major platforms (Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault ENOVIA, PTC Windchill, SAP PLM)
- Proven success leading large-scale PLM transformation programs across industries such as automotive, aerospace, industrial manufacturing, and life sciences
- Strong understanding of product development processes: requirements management, BOM management, change management, configuration management, and digital thread implementation
- Technical expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, integration patterns, and data migration strategies
- Knowledge of industry standards and methodologies (CMII, APQP, ASPICE, ISO)
- Familiarity with digital manufacturing, Model-Based Definition (MBD), Digital Twin concepts, and IoT integration with PLM systems
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Professional certifications in PLM platforms, enterprise architecture (TOGAF), or project management (PMP) are a plus.
