Requirements
Cloud and DC Virtualization networking (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, VMware NSX-V, NSX-T, AWS, Azure, GCP) with the ability to understand and optimize hardware and software configurations
Expert understanding of design and implementing networking in a multi-tenant, service provider environment
Expert in networking, including but not limited to: (L2/L3), SDN (SD-WAN, SD-LAN (DC), SD-Edge, SASE, etc), Overlay Networks, Underlay Fabrics, VXLAN, MPLS, IPv4 and IPv6, Dynamic and Static Routing WAN, Cloud and Internet Connectivity, strategy, design and implementation
Expert level understanding of AWS/GCP native networking services such as AWS Transit Gateway, GCP Shared VPC, AWS/GCP VPC peering, AWS direct connect, etc.
Advanced understanding of Network Security topics (Firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto), NGFW, NIDS, NIPS, NSG, Taps, Proxies, Web Filters, Remote Access) both in the traditional DC and Hyperscalers
Advanced understanding of cloud DNS and IPAM tools such as (AWS Route 53 and GCP Cloud DNS).
Advanced understanding of application delivery services such as (F5, nginx, Netscaler, AWS/Azure/GCP NLB/ALB).
Through understating of traditional (on premise) and native hyperscale management and monitoring tools and those used within CCP and our Managed Services business
Good understanding of IaC development tools like Terraform, Ansible, AWS Cloud Formation, ARM templates, etc.
A desire to continually update, enhance and validate cloud skills with hands-on approach.
Pro-actively manage own tasks and projects to agreed deadlines.
Broad exposure to Cloud technologies and hybrid architectures
