About the role
- Milano Vice is a digital food startup on a mission to reinvent gastronomy.
- Take full ownership of accounting operations in DATEV, including bookkeeping, payables, receivables, reconciliations, and monthly/annual closings.
- Lead projects to design and implement scalable processes and tools that strengthen our financial infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with German accounting, tax, and reporting standards.
- Collaborate closely with Finance and Operations teams to integrate accounting with business operations.
- Support auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders with accurate and timely documentation.

Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
- Proficiency in DATEV is a must, with hands-on experience in managing accounting workflows.
- Strong understanding of German GAAP (HGB) and tax regulations.
- Fluent in German and English (both required).
- Detail-oriented, structured, and reliable with a proactive mindset.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment or startup is a plus.
