About the role
- Independent responsibility for accounts receivable and accounts payable, including dunning processes and reconciliation of open items
- Posting of bank statements and advices, preparation of VAT returns (AT & CH) and Intrastat filings
- Responsible for accurate management and posting of fixed assets
- Support month-end and year-end closings including provisions, foreign currency valuations, SOX documentation and reporting to the USA
- Handle communications with auditors, tax consultants and tax auditors
Requirements
- Degree in business administration or completed commercial vocational training, plus further qualification as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
- Solid professional experience in financial accounting and tax law (UStG, HGB, US GAAP)
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (Infor advantageous), ideally with Key User experience in ERP implementation projects
- Independent working style, proactive attitude and a solution- and results-oriented approach
- Business-fluent German and strong English skills
