About the role
- assist attorneys with their cases
- participate in office-wide projects and client services
- eventually handle some cases on their own as a DOJ-accredited representative
Requirements
- An associate’s degree or commensurate professional experience is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred
- high level of Spanish proficiency
- excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem‐solving skills
- strong organizational skills
- proficient with major software and web services, including Word, Excel, G Suite
- access to a reliable internet connection if intending to work remotely
- experience related to immigration and poverty preferred
- prior experience with immigration law preferred
- relevant lived experience encouraged
