About the role

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Institute programs and staff to ensure effective execution of goals and initiatives.
  • Support the Executive Director and leadership team by providing regular performance updates, data-driven insights, and recommendations for operational and strategic enhancements.
  • Direct all financial operations, including budget planning, forecasting, analysis, and compliance with university policies and procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies and internal controls that promote fiscal accountability and transparency.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with FSB Finance, University Advancement, and other administrative units to ensure alignment of financial and operational practices.
  • Oversee the management, tracking, and compliance of donor gift agreements in collaboration with University Advancement.
  • Lead the preparation of donor impact reports to demonstrate outcomes, stewardship, and return on philanthropic investment.
  • Oversee the collection, management, and analysis of key institutional data, including program KPIs, enrollment metrics, co-curricular participation, student outcomes, and alumni engagement.
  • Ensure data integrity and deliver actionable insights that support decision-making across the Institute.
  • Lead the development of dashboards, analytics tools, and performance reports for the Executive Director, leadership team, and Advisory Board.
  • Coordinate the Institute’s submissions for national rankings and benchmarking to strengthen visibility and institutional reputation.
  • Supervise and mentor professional staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, goal setting, and performance evaluations for Institute personnel.
  • Promote professional development and ensure strong cross-functional communication among staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in business administration, higher education administration, public administration, or a related field
  • At least five years of progressively responsible experience in financial management, data analytics, or operational leadership, preferably in higher education or a comparable organizational setting
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Experience supervising professional staff and leading collaborative teams
