About the role
- Design scalable, secure SharePoint Online environments, including information architecture, site structure, hub site strategy, and content management.
- Actively develop custom components (SPFx), configure complex document management solutions (DMS), and manage 200+ TB data environments.
- Direct SharePoint migrations from on-premises (2016/2019) to SharePoint Online using tools like ShareGate or Microsoft Migration Tool.
- Develop and optimize business processes using Logic Apps, Power Automate, and custom APIs.
- Establish governance models, compliance policies, and security best practices (including Purview).
- Implement AI-powered solutions, including Copilot for M365 and Copilot Studio.
- Lead workshops with C-level stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical blueprints.
- Provide technical leadership to junior developers and offshore teams.
Requirements
- Expertise in SharePoint Online: Deep knowledge of modern SharePoint architecture, hub sites, and site provisioning.
- Development & Coding: Strong hands-on skills in SPFx (SharePoint Framework), TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Power Platform: Deep experience in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI integration with SharePoint.
- Microsoft 365 & Azure: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Graph API, Azure AD, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.
- Migration Tools: Proven experience with ShareGate and Microsoft Migration Tools.
- Scripting: Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation and management.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in SharePoint development and architecture, with at least 2-3 years focused on SharePoint Online.
- Customer facing.
- Experience of mentoring junior members of the team,
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Industry Focus: Background in Microsoft Partners, IT Consultancies, or large enterprise environments.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to map out long-term roadmaps for SharePoint infrastructure.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies rapidly, especially AI-driven tools.
