About the role
- Lead the technical delivery of ServiceNow development across multiple projects and customers
- Provide consultancy and technical expertise, ensuring all development aligns with ServiceNow best practice and customer requirements
- Conduct code reviews, define standards, and ensure quality assurance of all development output
- Mentor and support junior developers, aiding skills development and progression within the team
- Contribute to the creation of skills matrices for projects and support recruitment of new colleagues within the discipline
- Deliver project-specific training and knowledge transfer to colleagues
- Participate in customer workshops, scoping sessions, and solution design
- Support pre-sales activity by shaping proposals and providing technical input to bids
- Act as an ambassador for the ServiceNow practice within Methods, sharing knowledge and supporting the wider community
Requirements
- Proven track record as a ServiceNow Developer with deep expertise across several areas of the platform (e.g. ITSM, ITOM, ITAM)
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow best practice development, configuration, and integration
- Experience in leading development teams, including mentoring, coaching, and performing code reviews
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work in hybrid teams across multiple projects and customer engagements
- Eligible for, or already holding, SC clearance
- Desirable: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certifications across multiple modules
- Desirable: Experience contributing to pre-sales and shaping technical solutions in proposals
- Desirable: Experience working in consultancy or partner environments
