About the role
- Sign partnerships with real estate owners to install Meter in vacant commercial spaces and scale Meter across your market
- Build awareness of Meter across brokers, owners, developers, and property managers
- Own the full sales-to-operations process: prospecting, qualifying, closing, operationalizing, and expanding within portfolios
- Book and lead discovery calls to educate owners on Meter’s model and value proposition
- Negotiate pricing, structure, and contractual terms in collaboration with Legal to close deals
- Partner with Sales to close tenants and leverage tenant wins to generate more owner opportunities
- Coordinate with Operations to deploy Meter hardware in owner spaces
- Work with Customer Success to retain installations when customers move out
- Collaborate with Marketing and Design to host events and create marketing materials for owners
- Measured on ability to scale model in market and to sign partnerships covering a meaningful portion of vacancy
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of real estate and your market’s ecosystem (asset manager, broker, or technology professional who sells into the market)
- Existing relationships with brokers, property managers, owners, and developers in your market
- Proven track record of winning and scaling in your domain
- Grit, ambition, creativity, and comfort operating in both details and strategy
- Experience prospecting, booking and leading discovery calls, negotiating pricing/contract terms, and closing partnerships
- Experience expanding within owner portfolios and coordinating cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Operations, Customer Success, Marketing
