About the role
- Responsible for a portion of customer sales activities of new aerospace and defense accounts
- Act as the Account Manager and key contact for Business Development Managers
- Provide support for inquiries, purchase orders, shipments, and payments
- Develop new and existing accounts by building rapport and providing world class customer service
- Support growth initiatives for long product bars and tubes, machined components, forgings, and cut solutions
- Serve as the central point of contact for Business Development Managers
- Prospect through cold calling
- Manage customer pricing and contracts
- Monitor and resolve issues related to past-due accounts receivable
- Strengthen customer relationships through regular communication
Requirements
- High school diploma with at least 7 years of experience in inside sales, customer relationship management, or other commercial experience
- Associate's degree in business or related field, with at least 4 years of experience in inside sales, customer relationship management, or other commercial experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field, with at least 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer relationship management, or other commercial experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
