About the role
- Strategic account management: You will take over a network of key contacts in neurology in Upper Austria and Western Austria that has been built up over more than 20 years, maintain these relationships carefully and further develop new contacts in additional federal states — particularly Salzburg and, if required, Tyrol and Vorarlberg — to ensure optimal availability of our products in your territory.
- Apply market expertise: With your specialist knowledge in neurology, you will position our therapeutic options purposefully and inform healthcare professionals about current developments.
- Patient-centered approach: You will focus on patients’ needs and ensure the responsible use of our products.
- Teamwork and reporting: Working closely with Marketing and Medical, you will report regularly on market developments and your progress, and contribute innovative ideas in meetings.
- Events and congresses: You will attend international congresses and support their organization to further strengthen and expand our market position and deepen customer relationships.
Requirements
- Successful completion of the pharmaceutical representative exam (Pharmareferentenprüfung) or a degree in Medicine or Pharmacy (qualification according to §72 AMG)
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Residence in Upper Austria or Salzburg or the surrounding region
- Proven success in specialist physician and hospital field sales, ideally with scientifically demanding products
- Experience with product launches
- Structured and independent working style
- Ability to develop targeted strategies together with Sales and Marketing management to further grow your customer base
- Creative, solution-oriented mindset with strong implementation skills and very good German and English language skills.
