About the role

  • Assists in the preparation and filing of design and utility trademark applications
  • Establishes and maintains trademark files
  • Reviews all incoming correspondence from foreign associates
  • Maintains and updates docketing with respect to new filings
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationship with attorneys and staff

Requirements

  • BA degree and paralegal certificate or equivalent experience
  • Some relevant work experience with U.S. trademark prosecution filing
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks
  • Ability to concentrate on detailed work for up to 80% of worktime
  • Experience with advanced computer software and data base maintenance
