Member of the Operations Team collaborating with internal departments and external partners to ensure correct and timely billing of Mercer Advisors investment management clients.
Responsible for monthly billing audit including fee billing analysis, troubleshooting client accounts, and adjustment billing
Review accounts and households to ensure appropriate fee schedules are assigned
Prepare and review client billing files for accuracy and completeness and submit billing file for processing
Review direct debit results files to insure timely collections of client fees
Research and assist in the collection of any uncollected items
Analyze billing data on a monthly basis and work with Finance & Accounting to insure proper revenue recognition
Respond to billing inquiries from Client Service teams
Perform month-end and ad hoc analysis as needed
Work with trading and client service teams to ensure cash is available for direct debit in investment accounts
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
Prior billing experience preferred
Financial services background preferred
Exceptional problem-solving and sharp analytical skills
Knowledge of portfolio accounting and client performance reporting
Strong systems and process orientation as well MS Office experience
Experience working with integrated financial systems
Detail-oriented, accurate and possesses good organizational skills; strong communication skills
Demonstrates good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well across all departments and levels within the organization
Experience with Salesforce and Envestnet preferred
