Account Executive

• Own the pipeline: Build and grow a portfolio of net-new mid-market and enterprise accounts through outbound prospecting, inbound conversion, events, conferences, and partner channels - treating inbound as one channel among many while maintaining an outbound-first, self-generated pipeline discipline
• Run the full cycle: Own every stage of the deal process - outreach, discovery, technical validation, business case development, negotiation, and close
• Educate the market: Run consultative discovery conversations around AI risk, AI-generated code, governance, compliance, and secure AI adoption
• Shape the product and GTM motion: Bring field insights directly back to Product, Marketing, and Leadership to help refine messaging, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy
• Partner cross-functionally: Work closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Leadership to move strategic opportunities forward
• Represent Mend AI externally: Be a visible presence at security conferences, executive meetings, webinars, customer roundtables, and across the partner ecosystem

Account Executive – AI Team

Manager

• Recruit, onboard, and enable VARs and resellers to drive net-new business and customer expansion
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve channel revenue targets and increase partner-sourced pipeline
• Build deep relationships with partner sales and technical teams, serving as their trusted advisor on application security solutions
• Conduct regular business reviews with partners to track performance, identify growth opportunities, and optimize joint go-to-market strategies
• Collaborate with internal sales teams to transition appropriate accounts to partner-led models and manage co-sell motions
• Facilitate coordination between Mend Sales teams and partners for new logo business
• Enable partners through training, deal support, and technical resources to ensure successful customer outcomes
• Drive partner marketing activities including joint campaigns, events (planning, execution and in-person attendance), and demand generation programs
• Forecast accurately and maintain detailed partner activity tracking in Salesforce
• Identify whitespace opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate underserved markets through the channel

National Channel Manager

Backend Engineer

• Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend systems from concept to deployment.
• Develop solutions for processing, storing, and analysing data at scale.
• Optimize application performance and ensure the reliability of services running in a cloud-native environment.
• Design and maintain complex databases, ensuring data integrity and query efficiency across relational and non-relational systems.
• Manage and implement multi-system integrations, handling high levels of complexity and technical interdependencies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and participate in rigorous code reviews to maintain high quality.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to ensure Mend.io remains at the forefront of the industry.

Growth Marketing

• Own the customer relationship end-to-end
• Ensure customers are getting real, measurable value out of offerings
• Secure renewals and identify expansion opportunities
• Carry a book of 40-55 accounts accountable for gross retention and expansion revenue
• Run regular business reviews, track adoption and utilization metrics, and flag churn signals before they escalate
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource on how Mend fits into a customer's SDLC
• Translate customer feedback into structured insights for Product and Engineering
