Provides clinical, technical and product knowledge support to existing and potential customers.
Builds and maintains solid customer relationships and provides customer training at all levels.
Responsible for key customer reports as required to support Medtronic Neuro surgery/Navigation/Robotic Assisted Surgery products and services.
Works and collaborates with regional robotics teams, Spinal Sales, and neurosurgery teams to identify prospective new users for Robotics and applicable technology-enabled procedures.
Attends and participates in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed.
Submits reports and provides information as directed.
Supports more complex, new image-guided products and applications to physicians and hospital staff.
Coordinates, supports, and collaborates with Robotics Area Managers for on-site installations with customers.
Maintains system hardware and software to maximize system performance.
Acts as the primary Medtronic customer liaison for clinical case support and utilization.
Educates and trains physicians and hospital personnel on technical matters relating to technology-enabled procedures.
Provides training and resources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for their personnel.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED AND a minimum of 6 years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience;
An Associate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience;
A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience.
RT and/or MRI certification (Nice to Have)
Prior experience with Image Guided Systems (Nice to Have)
Prior experience with MRI Operating room experience (Nice to Have)
Must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within assigned territory and may require overnight travel.
